| Description | Location.The Firehouse Inn is located in historic downtown Rutherfordton, N.C., one block from Highway 221. The Rutherford County Farm Museum features two murals and a variety of artifacts relating to historic Rutherfordton seven miles away. The Rutherfordton Golf Club is one mile from the inn.
Features. Built in 1925, this Colonial-style home features a garden courtyard with café-style tables and a trickling water fountain. Complimentary full breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room. A full kitchen is available for guests' use. Conference rooms and complimentary wireless Internet access are provided. The Firebay features doors leading out to the inn's gardens. The living room showcases a piano and fireplace. The on-site boutique offers Italian linens, duvet covers, and Gilchrist and Soames spa therapy sets.
