Coma Recovery Association - A non-profit organization for coma and brain injury survivors, family members, friends and professionals. Offerings include mutual aid and support, support group meetings, general information, referrals and advocacy.

Central Okanagan Brain Injury Society - Services include case management, family support, advocacy, public education, career counseling, work experience, job placement, job coaching and long term followup to TBI/ABI survivors in British Columbia.

Brain Injury Society - Serves acquired and traumatic brain injured individuals and their families. Contains information on ABI/TBI, legal issues, state's legal definition of TBI, SSI tips, online newsletters and a chat room.

East Texas Brain Injury Association - Site includes information regarding meeting dates and times for both survivors and caregivers as well as links to other TBI sites.

Brain Injury Association of New Zealand - Provides information, advocacy and support to people with brain injuries, family members, and caregivers. Has listing of branch offices, and offers Social Rehabilitation clinics in a variety of cities.

Brain Injury Association of Oregon (BIAOR) - Provides calendar of events, statewide support group schedules and contacts, newsletter, personal stories, and related resources.

Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program - The Florida Department of Health offers acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, transitional living services, adaptive equipment, home modifications, and other services necessary for community reintegration. The BSCIP also provides public information, prevention, education and research programs.

International Brain Injury Association - Dedicated to the development and support of professionals, advocates, policy makers, consumers and others who work to improve outcomes and opportunities for persons with brain injury.

Ontario Brain Injury Association - Committed to enhancing the quality of life for those living with an acquired brain injury by providing support services, professional development programs, and community involvement. Offers newsletter, calendar of events, and resource information.

BC Brain Injury Association - Provides resources for current research and technological advances in TBI/ABIs, definitions and descriptions of concussion, support group contacts, conference information, and links to agencies assisting people in British Columbia.

Traumatic Brain Injury Technical Assistance Center - Established to help states in the development of programs that improve access to health and services for individuals with TBI and their families. Offers guidance, assessments, training, resource materials, technical assistance, and an annual conference. Supported and administered by the Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau.

Brain Injury Association of Georgia - Services include a resource clearinghouse, toll-free help line, statewide directory of service providers, peer support, educational workshops, scholarship fund, advocacy, and support services, camps and conferences for those affected by brain injury.

United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF) - Promotes understanding of all aspects of Acquired Brain Injury and provides expert input to UK policy makers by setting up working parties and conferences to discuss any aspect of acquired brain injury. The Forum addresses medical, social welfare, education, housing, vocational, financial, legal, and other issues in which brain injured people and their carers require representation.

Headway UK - Brain injury association is a registered charity in England. Its aims are to promote understanding of all aspects of head injury and to provide information, support and services to people who have suffered a head injury, their family and carers.

Oregon Brain Injury Resource Network (OBIRN) - A statewide resource center improving access to Brain Injury information. Offers resource and literature databases, family advocacy, educational consultants, and a bibliography. A library and newsletter are available to members.

Vancouver Island Head Injury Society - Non-profit group providing support, information, and activities for people with brain injuries, their families, and the people who support them in Victoria, B.C., Canada.

Friends of the Head Injury Association - Advocacy group based in Alberta, Canada providing services and information to ABI/TBI survivors. Provides a manual written for survivors, tips for the general public on interacting with a TBI/ABI survivor, and discussion groups for FOTHI Events and general topics.

Waikato Head Injury Society - Provides advocacy, education, referral, counseling and support services to brain injured individuals in New Zealand. Check for meeting and event schedules as well as guides to understanding brain injury, coma, concussion, fatigue, solvent neurotoxicity, and rehabilitation.

Saskatchewan Brain Injury Association - A non-profit group providing support, information sharing, public information and awareness. The SBIA works as an advocacy group committed to enhancing the quality of life for survivors and their families and to educate the public on safety and prevention.

Headway Cardiff - Based in Cardiff, UK, this group provides a vital stepping-stone for head injured people in South Wales after discharge from hospital.

Weiss ABI Work Support Group - The New Orleans chapter for people with acquired brain injuries. Provides meeting information, resources, and writings by support group members.

National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (NASHIA) - Assisting state government in promoting partnerships and building systems to meet the needs of individuals with brain injury and their families. Offers documents, fact sheets, information about state and federal programs, and an event calendar.

Brain Injury Association of Texas - Provides support and instructional services to survivors and their families. Provides online forum, statewide support group information, literature order form, and a newsletter for members.

Brain Injury Support Group of Portland - Support for brain-injured people, their loved ones, and their caregivers. Offers information and referral, peer counseling, news, and references.
