Expert Tip.Many dishes in Cologne have very unusual names. A good one is Halver Hahn, which means one half of a hen. No, it isn't chicken but bread in cheese. Another one to look out for is Himmel un Aad. It translates as heaven and earth which in this town means a plate of mashed potato, apple, blood sausage, onions and bacon.
