| DrivingDirections | Getting there.Taxis are available from the airport, and a taxi to the hotel costs approximately 12 CYP. Higher prices apply late evening and early morning. Intercity buses also connect the airport with all major towns and cities in Cyprus. Walking is a good way to explore the sights in the town. Local buses operate between most major towns on Cyprus. Taxis are also available. Car hire is a great way to explore Paphos, the surrounding countryside.
Driving directions. From the airport continue to Paphos, and at the first roundabout in Paphos turn left to Kato Paphos leading to the seaside. Turn left again at the Paphos Amathus Hotel and the Athena Royal Beach Hotel is on the right. |

| Description | Location. The Athena Royal Beach Hotel is a modern whitewashed property set on the sandy beach of Kato Paphos, situated three kilometres from the historic Tomb of the Kings and four kilometres from Paphos city centre. Paphos International Airport is 15 kilometres away, a 20 minute drive.
Hotel Features.The Athena Royal Beach Hotel has a 14 rink green bowls court, two floodlit tennis courts, aqua aerobics and mini golf. Umbrellas and sun beds are free at the private beach and three outdoor pools, and drinks and snacks are served at the poolside Olive Tree Bar. Relaxation includes two saunas, three hot tubs and massage and beauty treatments; aperitifs and live piano music can be enjoyed in the cocktail bar and there are cinema nights, folklore shows and quizzes.
The Athena Royal Beach Hotel offers three dining options: Oasis Restaurant serves international buffets in a modern setting; Aphrodite Restaurant offers an international à la carte menu in luxurious surroundings; and Pygmalion Restaurant serves international dishes with show cooking.
Professional lessons at nearby golf and tennis academies can be booked through the hotel.
