Getting there. There is a railway station in the terminal's central hall, under Schiphol Plaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Central Station approximately every 15 minutes. Trains run to Leeuwarden station, with a journey time of about 3 hours. Public buses frequently run to destinations around the Netherlaands.
Getting around. Leeuwarden has an extensive and reliable bus system. All bus lines pass through the train station, opposite the hotel. Cycling is a popular way of getting around. Taxis are expensive and rarely used.
