| DrivingDirections | A white airport bus runs hourly between the airport and Bern's main railway station, and the Airliner bus runs once or twice per hour from the airport to the Swiss Federal Railways station in Belp. Trains connect to Interlaken, then Lauterbrunnen and on to Wengen station which is 500 metres from the hotel. Wengen is a car free resort, although a shuttle runs between the hotel and the resort centre.

| Description | Hotel Belvedere is a traditional art nouveau style chalet hotel overlooking the Alps, situated 500 metres from the car free resort centre, from where a funicular train runs six kilometres to the Kleine Scheidegg ski lift. The 62 guestrooms are located on five floors and all have coloured walls, warm lighting and include cable television, direct dial phones, safes and bathrooms with hair dryers. Some extend to balconies overlooking the Jungfrau mountains.
Guests are offered a complimentary buffet breakfast, after which they can ask multilingual staff about ski storage and the hotel's shuttle bus service. After a long day of hiking or skiing, guests can warm up in the bar with a drink in front of the fireplace, or relax with a coffee while admiring the panoramic mountain views. Internet access is also available (surcharge) for guests wishing to catch up with family and friends at home. Hotel staff organise children's dinners for the younger guests, and a playground is open during summer months. The hotel's dining room is lit with chandeliers and tall, arched windows and serves a choice of buffet dishes. Those preferring to dine out will find restaurants in the resort centre 500 metres from the hotel. Interlaken town centre is 12 kilometres away. Bern airport is 60 kilometres from the hotel and takes around an hour by car. |
