Distance to Schone Aussicht is 5 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The number 2 bus runs between the airport and Salzburg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof) every 10 minutes. Single tickets cost 1.80 EUR. A taxis straight to the hotel will cost around 15 20 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Salzburg's city centre is best explored on foot. The city is served by an inexpensive tram and bus system, and there are numerous cycle paths. Driving is not advised for visitors, and cars are not allowed in some areas of the Old Town. |

| Description | Location. Schone Aussicht is in a 300 year old farmstead on a wooded hillside overlooking central Salzburg, Austria, three kilometres from the city centre. The lakes and mountains of the Salzkammergut region are eight kilometres away, and Salzburg Airport is five kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The hotel is surrounded by gardens with sweeping views across Salzburg, a terraced seating area, and an outdoor pool. There is a steam room, sauna, spa tub, and gym, with massage treatments also available. Complimentary parking facilities are provided, and there is onsite ATM banking.
Schone Aussicht's à la carte restaurant features rustic furnishings, and terrace seating. It offers typical local specialities, and is open Thursday to Monday. Buffet breakfast is complimentary.
The hotel has conference and meeting facilities, and also offers wireless Internet connections (surcharge).
Many cycling and hiking trails lead off from around the hotel, and there is also an onsite tennis court, and a kids' playground.
