Yamaha Cr-3020-Yamaha's Finest Receiver Ever-160 W/C-Near (ListedBuy) $1,595
Greensburg, PA -- Offered for sale is the Yamaha CR-3020 stereo receiver along with the original owner's manual. The owner's manual contains the full schematic. This is the finest receiver Yamaha ever built and one of the finest receivers of any make. Introduced in 1977 with a power rating of 160 watts per channel. You can count on one or two hands the receivers built rated at over 150 watts per channel and this is one of them. The CR-3020 is about as close as you can come to a Pioneer SX-1980 but at about 1 third of the price. Has about every feature you would ever want or use. To view the complete manufacturer's specifications zoom into the last two photos. I recently acquired this receiver from a widow that belongs to our church in Yukon, PA. She and her husband purchased it in 1981 from a stereo shop in Greensburg, PA, so it's a one owner. The owner claims they paid well over a thousand dollars for it. I knew her husband and he was a real fanatic about taking care of his possessions.

Lloyd's Quad 8-Track Player/Receiver Discrete Quadraphonic (ListedBuy) $85
Huntingdon, PA -- This is a Lloyd's quadraphonic 8-track player/receiver. The 8-track plays great with great 4 channel separation, great sound on all channels, you can also play regular stereo tapes in this. There is at times some issues with the sound in one of the speakers, sometimes you have to mess with some of the buttons/knobs a little to get the sound to come back. Sometimes it is one of the rear speakers and sometimes one of the front. I've found that if you slowly keep pressing the 4 ch/2ch or the discrete/SQ button that will usually take care of it. A lot of times it will have all 4 speakers working for a long time without having to jiggle any knobs. It's always worked like that for me, not sure why. The unit has some cosmetic scuffs and scratches here and there, the treble button is bent slightly but still slides back and forth with no problems. The " joystick control works good.

Greensburg, PA -- Offered for sale is a Fisher 434 2/4 channel receiver. Introduced in 1974 having an MSRP of $600. Rated at 35 watts per channel in 2 channel stereo mode and sixteen watts per channel in four channel quad mode. Has an SQ decoder that lets you synthesize 4 channel sound from any standard two channel source, actually does a pretty good job. Although it is a quad receiver, it's just as much at home when being used as a conventional stereo receiver. Has a joystick that controls four conventional potentiometers for balancing channels. Can balance front and rear channels in unison or the front channels while muting the rear or the rear channels while muting the front, works remarkably well. A beautifully styled receiver that was quality made in Japan. The service manual can be downloaded free of charge at Hi Fi Engine. Couldn't find the specs on it, Fisher doesn't put specifications in service manuals for some reason. The power rating I referenced is in according to what's listed in my Orion Blue Book.
