Statistics Iceland - Provides lots of basic statistical information including a very useful Iceland in Figures publication.

Inflation Calculator for Italy - Contains inflation calculator and list of basic inflation statistics. This site is written entirely in Italian but quite easy to understand.

Institut National de la Statistique et des Etudes Economiques (INSEE) - French national statistical agency providing both economic and social information.

Danmarks Statistik - Provides economic and macro-economic data including county level information.

Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) - The homepage of Statistics Netherlands/Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek contains all kinds of statistical information about the Netherlands.

Statistisk sentralbyrå: Forside - The SSB provides varied and up to date information on a range of statistics including labour market, wages, national economy and industry.

Federal Statistical Office Germany - Provides detailed and up to date economic statistics, as well as macro-economic and social information.

Istituto Nazionale di Statistica Italian - Good, up to date economic and social data in English, but more detailed information is only available in Italian.

STATEC - Service Central de la Statistique et des Etudes Economiques, Luxembourg - Provides detailed and up to date economic information, including GDP and consumer prices.

National Institute of Statistics - The main official statistical institution in Belgium offers you a large choice of statistical figures and presents its latest publications and press releases.

Instituto Nacional de Estatistica, Portugal - Provides very up to date economic and social statistics in English. More detailed data is available in Portuguese only.

Czech Statistical Office - Includes Macro-economic, trade, consumer prices and industry data. Some of the information is available for 2001.

National Statistical Service of Greece - Provides detailed but quite old information (1994-1997) on a range of economic, macro-economic and social information.

Polska Statystyka Publiczna - Detailed and usually current information on a range of Polish economic and social statistics.

The Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies - The Austrian think tank for first-hand expertise on Economies in Central and Eastern Europe, CIS and the Balkans.

Belgian Statistics - Official statistical site for Belgium. Information on unemployment, consumer prices and labour information. Also includes wage data.

Statistics Finland - Up to date and comprehensive information including, consumer prices, finance, income, private consumption, trade and the environment. However, this site is very large and it is necessary to persevere to get the information you require!

Statistics Sweden - The official statistics for Sweden. Information on publications and various data sets, for example economy and population.

Hungarian Central Statistical Office - Provides up to date economic and financial statistics as well as socio-economic information.
